Sebastian Enriques
SOLO
After 11 years on stage with the duo Muzant, Sebastian spreads his wings for the first time with his own solo program suitable for every music lover. His first solo recital is characterized by his search for his own style through the accordion repertoire.
Sometimes delicate and fragile, sometimes playful or virtuoso, the audience is always taken into his world of intense passion. His search for musical masterpieces never stops, which is why he brings a whole spectrum of different works by diverse composers, which he performs with the greatest drive and passion.
J.S. Bach, G. Hermosa, A. Piazzolla, F. Angelis, R. Galliano, A. Borodin,
Y. Tiersen, D. Scarlatti, etc. are seamlessly interwoven with emotions through technical mastery and dedication. Well-known and lesser known melodies of various origins form the building blocks for his colourful solo performance.

The friendship between Emma and Sebastian arose very quickly when they both started their first Bachelor of Classical Music at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. When it turned out that they excelled in their interplay, they decided to form a duo together.
Their musical taste goes far beyond traditional genres. They love not only jazz, outspoken rhythms and southern influences but also light, elegant classical music from past and present. They play well-known and lesser known works by A. Piazzolla, J.S. Bach, R. Galliano, B. Lagrene, R. Balkanski, T. Gubitsch, etc.
The name Como originates from a trip to the beautiful Lake Como, where they had an incredibly beautiful time together with their friends. That's exactly what they want to convey on stage: the love for music, the pleasure for their playing and the warm atmospheres of blissful summer evenings.
Because of their studies at the Conservatoire, they are still busy expanding their repertoire and creating their programme. You will be able to book this duo from the summer of 2020.

When Sebastian started with accordion lessons at the age of 10, his mother couldn't resist playing the violin. When Veerle 'fiddled' at home, Sebastian spontaneously invented some melodies. In this way Muzant created himself 'between the soup and the potatoes' (That's a Belgian saying).
Soon it became clear that their immeasurable passion for music would create a unique 'band', both on and off stage. Melody after melody seems to flow effortlessly from their instruments. They themselves enjoy the melancholy and summery atmosphere they invariably bring to the stage
They have already performed at the Gentse Feesten, Het Lepelhof, Kasteel Fruithof, Dranouter, De Pianofabriek, GC 't Gasthuis in Wijnegem, Den Boomgaard in Ranst, Studio 100, Den Hopsack, Den Engel, in the supporting act of Hannelore Bedert and Arne Van Haecke. In 2014 they became laureate of the competition 'Sterk Onversterkt' and were selected for Belgium's Got Talent at VTM. Furthermore, they provide all kinds of events for numerous organizations such as Ziekenzorg, Het Zorgbedrijf, Markant, De Landelijke Gilden, FVV, Okra, Huiskamerconcerten, Dienstencentra, Het Davidsfonds, UitHuis Hoboken, Fameus, Neos, Opsinjoren Antwerpen, Bollekesfeest,...
